My incredibly thoughtful girlfriend decided to surprise me by making me this amazing desk. It is the first desk she has made and I was truly impressed!
Notes below are from her with the pictures from each step:
Humble beginning

Trying to determine the design and configuration. Originally it was going to be all wood.
Staining

Making the base
The Christmas bows were a challenge to work with.
Had to start over but got the idea to use candy sprinkles during the process.
Was going to put pieces of plants under the epoxy but wasn't sure how it would turn out so they were left out.
Lining it up
Changed the planks to horizontal.
First coat of epoxy was a success!
